Meet the Heart Behind Sree Studio: Sreeja!

After going through a very bad Covid phase in 2021, like most of us I also started believing in “You live only once” mantra. Till then I had quit a very alluring Media career at Accenture and was totally a dedicated Homemaker and mom to my 2 boys. So I jotted down “the things I would like to do” and pottery was on top of it.I started looking for places near me where I can learn this art form and there was no looking back since then.

Pottery has been a great source of joy and satisfaction for me. It has helped me to express my creativity and explore my artistic side. It has also helped me to stay connected with nature and appreciate the beauty of the world around me. I am so glad that I took the plunge and followed my passion. I am sure that if you have a passion for something, you should go for it and make it happen.

I love experimenting and bringing new styles in functional pottery for the kitchen and home décor. I enjoy doing customizations and making customized pieces that are one of a kind. My inspiration comes from nature, the colors, the textures, the shapes and the beauty of it all. I also get inspired by the people around me and the stories they tell. I love to create pieces that are unique and special, that tell a story and bring joy to the people who use them.

My goal is to create pieces that are beautiful, functional and bring joy to the people who use them. I hope to continue to create pieces that bring a smile to people’s faces and make them feel special.Everything right from the design, creation, photography, marketing, packaging and shipping is done by a single pair of hands. But every piece is made with lots of love and attention to detail.
